We arrived on Sunday to be met by Walter the owner who could not do enough for us during our stay. So very welcoming and a hearty breakfast each morning. Will definitely be back at a later date, - Ed
We spent 3 nights at the Ardyne guest house in Rothesay. The manager, Walter, was amazingly helpful, nothing was too much trouble for him. The breakfast was really good with an excellent selection including fruit, porridge, cereals and traditional cooked breakfast. Our room was large, warm, clean and comfortable with a great view over the bay. The Ardyne is a 10 minute walk from the centre of Rothesay and a 15 minute drive to the Mount Stuart estate. I couldn’t recommend the Ardyne more highly.- Steve P
We had a great 3 night stay at the Ardyne❤️ We were made very welcome by our host Walter who gave us some good advice about eating out in the local area. The location is excellent with tremendous views towards Loch Striven from the breakfast room & within walking distance from central Rothesay.Bute is a lovely island, well worth visiting - especially the spectacular Mount Stuart House- and you could not be more welcome than at the Ardyne. We will definitely be back soon! - Ruth W
